From March 11-22, 2024, the UN Commission on the Status of Women will hold its 68th session with the priority theme, “Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective.”  In preparation for the session, the US Women’s Caucus has developed a series of Gender and Poverty Briefs as a resource for our membership, colleagues in the global feminist community, and government officials. The Briefs are summarized in a concise CSW 68 Advocacy Statement that will serve as a framework for our advocacy on the CSW 68 Agreed Conclusions.
