The Final Report discusses progress towards the Strategic Priorities as of June 2024, the endpoint in the two-year plan. We continued to recruit US feminist organizations to our alliance, applied for UN consultative status, adjusted our alliance name to reflect UN guidelines, and made connections with US government officials working on women’s rights.
The US Women’s Caucus held two planning sessions in June 2022 that established Strategic Priorities for the June 2022-June 2024 timeframe. This Midterm Report discusses progress towards those Strategic Priorities as of June 2023, the midpoint in the two-year plan. Some achievements were developing a new Mission Statement, recruiting more organizations and individuals to our alliance, and developing feminist positions on UN CSW themes.
Despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic, our Caucus moved forward with our advocacy efforts. The Annual Report 2021 highlights our official incorporation, presentations on feminist foreign policy, Tigray, and climate change, and many letters and statements on women’s rights issues.
